With CP6 now well underway, CRS has recently expanded both the Northern and Southern arms of its business with the addition of new staff. Throughout the months of December and January, various new members have been added to bolster our office based teams. This enables CRS to facilitate further growth over the next few years, whilst adding strength, experience and value to business at the same time.
Liam Linford-Smith – H&S Advisor
Liam Joined the CRS team in December 2019 as the organisations Health & Safety Advisor. Holding 18 years of rail experience, Liam brings with him a wealth of knowledge that he aims to pass on the CRS team. Liam supports the Operations & Managing Directors with the Health & Safety Statutory requirements and assists with the monitoring, implementation and application of the Civil Rail Solutions Ltd Safety Systems and procedures.
John Terry – P-Way & Renewals Manager John started with CRS back in 2015, following on from on already established career working in track renewals & maintenance based rail projects. Over the last few years John has been site based for CRS & has been overseeing various track projects in both a Supervisory and Managerial based capacity. John joined our Head Office based team in December 2019, when he was promoted to our P-Way and Renewals Manager. The main purpose in this new role is to serve as a critical link in further growing our P-Way & Renewals business on a more National basis.
Donna Wealands – Head Office Receptionist Donna joined CRS as our Head Office Receptionist in December 2019. She holds previous and extensive experience within a customer service & hotel reception environment, so the transition into CRS has been a seamless one. Within this new role, Donna will be undertaking reception, administration and stocktaking duties, so her accuracy, communication and her eye for detail will no doubt prove to be key attributes to enable Donna to further progress within the business.
Chris Grime – Labour Resourcer- North Chris joined the CRS Northern based Doncaster team as a Labour Resourcer in January 2019. He reports directly to the Northern Operations Manager and is responsible for the selection & deployment of our Northern based resources on a daily basis. Chris previously worked for SPL Powerlines and a number of smaller organisations within the civils sector. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from both on and off the track, mainly via Safety Critical streams. Chris will be key in our National growth throughout next few years.
Billy Somerville – Labour Resourcer – Head Office Billy joined our Head Office based team as a Labour Resourcer in February 2019. Billy holds previous track based experience having worked part-time on various rail projects over the last couple of years. This track based experience will prove advantageous in enabling Billy to best service the diverse needs of our expanding client base.
